Terms of Use

Last updated November 5, 2026

These terms cover your use of ClassBrief. By creating an account you agree to them.

What ClassBrief is

ClassBrief organizes messages you choose to forward or screenshot into a feed, an action queue, a calendar and digests. It is not connected to your school, is not affiliated with or endorsed by any school or teacher, and is not an official record of anything your school sends. Each item keeps the original message attached — check it before you rely on a date, amount or instruction.

Your account

One account is meant for one parent or guardian. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done through your account.

Your content

The messages and screenshots you add stay yours. You give ClassBrief permission to store and process them for the single purpose of running the app for you — reading them for dates and details, and showing them back to you. Only add messages you are entitled to have and to share with the app; do not upload someone else's private information without their permission.

Children's information

Accounts are for adults. If you add a child profile, you confirm you are that child's parent or guardian, or that you have permission from them to keep this information.

The AI can be wrong

The extraction is a convenience, not a guarantee. It may misread a date, an amount, a time or which child an item belongs to, and it may miss an item entirely. Correct anything that looks off, and rely on the original message for anything that matters — a permission slip due tomorrow, a payment deadline, a change of time.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use ClassBrief for anything unlawful, or to store or share content you have no right to.
  • Do not try to reach another person's account, items or files.
  • Do not scrape, overload or interfere with the service, or attempt to break its access rules.

Availability and changes

ClassBrief is offered as it is. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the service may be unavailable at times, including for maintenance. If a change materially affects how you use the app, this page is updated.

Ending your use

You can stop using ClassBrief at any time, and Settings can delete your account and its data. Access may be closed if these terms are broken in a way that harms the service or another person.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, ClassBrief is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for a missed deadline, unpaid fee or missed event that results from relying on an extracted item instead of the original message. Nothing here removes rights you have under applicable consumer law.
